Teens Speaking Out/Teens Stepping Out (TSO) Adds Majorette Dance Team – The Explosive Gems – to Program

tsotsoTeens Speaking Out/Teens Stepping Out (TSO) is a non-profit mentor program servicing inner city youth 8 to 19 years old throughout the Peoria area.

tso-2-steppersTSO has been in existence since May 2011. Its Founder is Mr. Quinton Neal, Sr. and Co-Founder is Ms. Diane Hines.

TSO offers many different programs for youth such as Technology, Grooming , 4-H, Tutoring, Nutrition, Performing Arts,

which includes Mime, Interpret Dance or Praise Dance, Stepping and new this year Majorette Dance.

tso-1-explosive-gemsThe majorette dance team is called The Explosive Gems. Majorette dance has become quite popular here in Peoria stemming from HBCUs and the southern parts of the U.S.

TSO will be adding Boxing to the program beginning in December.

TSO is located at The Nannie B. Johnson Community Center, formally Kingman School at 3129 N. E. Madison Ave.
