Springfield Pastor Announces 2nd Annual Reconciliation and Restoration Prayer Summit January 30, 2016

Pastor Donald MayesDonald N. Mayes Jr., Pastor of Worship Community Church in Springfield has announced the 2nd Annual Reconciliation & Restoration Prayer Summit will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 5:00 p.m., 1045 Outer Park Drive in Springfield, Illinois. All are welcome to attend.

The prayer summit will feature the gathering together of pastors, bishops, elders, ministers, priest, sisters and laypersons from all denominations, from all over Springfield, IL and surrounding areas. The goal is to seek the face of God regarding the issues concerning our communities, our nation, and our world.

Rising from the poverty of living in one of the country’s crime ridden housing project in Chicago, Pastor Donald Mayes is living the grace of God. From being given away as a child to fighting for his manhood in prison, he has truly gone from the pit to the palace. Overcoming drugs, depression, losing two wives to death, pulling the plug on his mother and watching his lifeless baby brother on a death-bed, has given him the appreciation of receiving eternal life in Christ. Today, Pastor Mayes has committed his life to serving God by serving people. His life’s motto “Family IS Family” has become his calling card.

A graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Illinois Teen Challenge Board Member, Pastor of Worship Community Church, Springfield Ministerial Alliance Chaplain, Springfield NAACP Religious Executive Chairman, Springfield Urban League Male Involvement Presenter, Missionary and a Servant Leader, Pastor Mayes loves God by loving people.
