Blowing One’s Nose – The New Etiquette By Irene Felicia Weathersby

Blowing one’s nose is always an awkward task, but one that cannot—at least in polite company—be neglected.

The only method is to be as unobtrusive as possible.

When dining with others, if possible, excuse yourself and leave the table if you must blow your nose;otherwise, turn your head away from the other guests.

Always use a tissue or handkerchief, never the table napkin.
