The 5th Annual Pearl L. Taylor Nurses Banquet will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 6 p.m. at New Morning Star Baptist Church.

This year all past honorees are invited for a reunion to mark the 5th anniversary.

Tickets are $10 for children and $20 for adults.

Pearl Taylor has transitioned to President Emeritus for the Central District Nurses Health Unit previously serving twelve years as president. Ms. Taylor is a devoted leader of Grace Baptist Church State Health Nurses Unit and is active in the community. She has served as Secretary of the United Mission; secretary and historian for the African American Hall of Fame Museum; Peoria Church Women United Nomination Committee; Peoria Historic Committee; NAACP Membership; Community Builder: and Central District’s Woman’s Auxiliary. Ms. Taylor has attended many Central District, State, National Board, Congress and National Conventions traveling throughout 35 States. She was also a Judge for Peoria County Voter’s Registrar during the 2001 Census.
