So many people like to say,

What love is and how it works today.

Love is universal, never to Betray.

THE GIFT!

Love will never hurt you,

Nor will it deceive,

It does not try to tease

Just to see you grieve.

THE GIFT!

No, love is not a temptress,

To leave you in distress,

It does not count you as a conquest,

Nor a vessel to possess.

THE GIFT!

Love is a blessing given to us

To make it through a lifetime,

A journey of ups and downs.

A promise to all mankind,

A tender note, we all have heard the sound!

When you look for love

Sometime, just turn around.

You might be surprised

Of a great love you have found.

THE GIFT!

Love is universal, A Gift,

There for you and me

Sent here from God

And it will never leave!
