Sometimes as Christians, we may find ourselves in some tough situations, and certain battles seem too hard to fight. Today we can take comfort in the Scripture Jeremiah 29:11, knowing that God has a plan for our lives and regardless of our situations, God can work through them to prosper us and give us hope. Our mountains may seem too big to move, but just keep on kicking those small pebbles day by day, and soon enough, you will find that you have moved the entire mountain.

You may feel as though you cannot handle another “bad news” phone call. You may find yourself asking, “God, why so much pain?” But the Scripture reads, “I know the plan that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you hope and a future.”
We may not see how anything good could come out of a tough situation, but God’s Grace allows us to move through life with harmony, even through the most difficult times in our lives. Just think of it this way, Jesus suffered many stripes for us. He was beaten; they pierced Him in His side and drove large nails into His hands and feet. He endured great pain for our transgressions. Jesus paid the price for our sins so that we may be free. I can only imagine the pain and suffering that He went through. This type of cruel and unusual punishment was not easy, yet it was worth it.
When I think of the goodness of the Lord and all He has done for me, my soul cries out to Him. All of my life, He has been faithful and just. My current situations are less than a fraction of a millimeter compared to the pain and agony Jesus suffered for you and me. In this life, we may get tired, we may even be weary but keep on going, keep on fighting the good fight of faith. Keep holding up your “rod and staff” unto God, and soon you will find that you are winning every battle that you’re in. You are an overcomer by the “Blood of the Lamb” you’re no longer defeated; you’ll be winning again before you realize it. Keep the faith.
