But in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6 KJV
For the rest of my life, as he has always been, I won’t struggle; I am without a doubt content here and now. As for old conflicts, and wearied thoughts, they are turned over to Jesus. Fighting any old battles is so tiresome and useless because the battle is already won through Jesus Christ, God’s sacrificial son. All I am saying in two important words are “Thank God.”
Do not allow anything or person to stop your prayer. No one can stop your song or your prayer without your consent. Unexpected things each day may cause people to feel confused, or even heartbroken. We are blessed when we can think clearly, so let us remind ourselves of the goodness of our creator. However, a wise person will always ask God what to do. Foolish people of dishonesty try to handle life without a prayer of thanksgiving. Fools don’t care if they sin because “he has said in his heart there is no God ”, whereas God’s chosen people work at making wise choices. Just remember, there is no failure in God. Give Him thanks AND STATION YOUR CONFIDENCE WHERE DIVIDENDS ARE GREAT!
1Thess. 5:18 In everything give thanks. This is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you, my friends. Thankfulness is not complicated when it is practiced in life’s ups and downs. There is no justification for ingratitude. After all, who gives air (the breath of life)? What can anyone do without God? Do you remember how man became a living soul?
Remember: God is still Lord, our heavenly Father, forever, AND the Kingdom belongs to Him. God awaits to be acknowledged by those whom he has continuously blessed. Surely the presence of the Lord is near so you can pray. His throne is anywhere you are. Troublesome times are everywhere, so let’s bare our hearts at God’s throne, as the breath of the Lord comforts within.
Deeply distressed people in Florida have no rest. How many will bear the toil enduring the pain realizing that God’s word is the great supporting anchor? Romans 15:1 We that are strong, bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Tell the distressed, that we through patience and consolation exhort them to be like minded one toward others according to Christ Jesus. Vs.6 &12 Be with one mind and glorify God. Now: receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God and may the God of hope fill you with joy and peace in believing, that you will abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Through it all, always give God thanks trusting in OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN.
Thank you so much, Lord, for teaching us to help our neighbor, as we also exhort them to practice showing gratitude. Amen
