On June 18, 2021, Illinois/Wisconsin State Association Brothers and Daughters of the Improved Benevolent Protective Order Elks of the World, held its election. On this day history was made, PGER William Ward was re-elected as State President and PGDR Vicki Ward was elected as the New Daughter State President.

This was the first time in history that the Illinois/Wisconsin State Association has had husband and wife as State Presidents. Illinois/Wisconsin State Association brothers and daughters, along with our leaders continue the work of Elkdom throughout our communities. Illinois/Wisconsin was established in 1927. Departments in the organization include Education which helps send children to college, along with Beauty and Talent for young ladies to help with their college, Civil Liberties Department, Special Child Department, Acts of Kindness Department and many more.
The Illinois/Wisconsin State Association Convention will be held June 22-26, 2022, at the Holiday Inn & Suites, 101 Holiday Suites, in East Peoria, IL. There will be a Spelling Bee held at the Convention on Friday, June 24th, 2022 with time to be announced. Any youth interested in participating in the Spelling Bee may contact PGDR Mary Washington Thomas.
