Meet Ashley Barber, owner of Trace of Fashion. a women’s clothing boutique that specializes in trendy styles for women and select plus size pieces.

Established in 2013, Ashley began as a “pop-up” boutique vendor at various vendor events. She reports always having a knack for fashion. Without any prior retail experience, she took a leap of faith to make it a reality. As a single mom with a vision, she shifted her focus from entrepreneurship to college. In 2018, she completed her LPN certificate. Employed full-time as a nurse, she juggles motherhood and running a successful business effortlessly.

Trace of Fashion was created with a vision to be traced with style. Services include Shipping, One on One shopping which includes shopping after hours to be styled privately, as well as Renting out the storefront to host after-hour shopping parties. Ashley is inspired by Singer/TV Personality Kandi Burruss Tucker, always looking ahead to create generational wealth.

Trace of Fashion is located at 2420 E. Washington Street in East Peoria (next to Original Wonderdog). Store hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10 am-6 pm.
