“LET GOD ARISE” Psalm 68 By Rev. Charity E. Sephus

Dearly beloveds,

God will take care of you. As we LIVE BY FAITH, let us practice praying AND NEGATE, saying, “I am afraid.” This is the confidence which we have before Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have what we have asked from Him. 1 John 5:14-15

It is not encouraging to concede defeat (almost like boasting) by uttering, “I am scared.” Let God arise as we bridle our tongues and redirect our thoughts.  Be wise and unafraid: let God arise over fleshly fear. We have power to make heartwarming declarations. Jesus was likewise tempted by Satan, whom he rebuked: just as Satan tempted Jesus, he tempts humanity. If you want victory, Let God arise by enacting Faith in Him. We cannot lose a battle that has already been won! Neither can we afford to squash our Faith by proclaiming bondage to fear.  Allow your heart to approve the sweet small voice which whispers “Hope” like a cheery sunbeam in a dark hour to substantiate the nearness of Jesus. Try a smile to help validate and verify FAITH!

Well, look at this! “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall, I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life of whom shall I be afraid. When the wicked even mine enemies and my foes came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident”.  Ps. 27

1Peter 5:8 – Be sober, be vigilant: because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom he may devour. Christ once said to his disciples unequivocally, “Behold, I give unto you power… overall the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you”.

Psalm 68 “Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered.  As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.”

Fists and guns will not win the “Pandemic War.”  In the Name of Jesus, we command “Coronavirus” to be destroyed as “smoke and wax.”

“The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ, and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience.” (2Cor. 10:4)

The cure was ordained from the foundation of the world. 1Peter 1:4 is His uncontested Will and Testament.

THE NAME OF THE CURE IS “JESUS” WHO CAME TO GIVE US MORE ABUNDANT LIFE. NOW, LET US CALL ON JESUS: HE WILL ANSWER PRAYER.
