Mary Washington Thomas, Daughter Ruler of Sojourner Truth Temple #1369 of Peoria, was crowned Ms. Illinois/Wisconsin State Queen on June 22nd in Springfield. Daughters, from various temples, have a queen representation at the State Convention each year. Daughters raise funds to help with various departments within the organization; Beauty and Talent, Education, Special Child with Needs, Battered Women’s, Socks and Books, and many more.

The organization is looking for ladies to become a part of the organization and work in the community.
