A HEART’S IMMORTAL PRAYER IMPLANT BY Rev. Charity Sephus

Peace, quietness, and assurance forever is the promise recorded in the book of Isaiah, chapter 32, verse 17.

The harvest of God’s wisdom follows no predetermined editorial pattern or arbitrary method except for the contents of a heart’s immortal prayer implanted for sweet flowing peace, God’s restful quietness, and blessed assurance forever. Prayer is so alive that it makes joy complete. An earnest, fervent prayer comes rolling from the heart where hope gives care to our wants and needs storehouse. We can pray without ceasing, while the Spirit makes intercessions with moaning and groaning that no words can say because God knows how we ought to pray. We exist for God’s glory. When our prayer channel is clear, we have rest, peace, quietness, and assurance immortal.

We know prayer changes things. It stimulates wisdom: of all the many things we think to do in times of turmoil, praying is most beneficial. Even though God gave every man a measure of faith, can anything exempt us from praying?  Certainly not!  Now we know Jesus prayed. We have no better choice. “Men ought always to pray and not faint” – St. Luke 18:1

When it seems there is no peace, pray for heart surgery. Yes! Authorize Him to do an implant; He is the donor and surgeon. Realizing God’s presence and power, inspires us to call him every wonderful name-Almighty, Good God, Wonderful Savior, Blessed Redeemer, Sweet Jesus, Dr. Jesus, and lovingly, we may call him Lord. His record speaks for Him in any case.

Reflections of common life experiences, by an uncommon grace of expression, mirror what most of us have thought, felt or aspire to think and feel; but we have enough gumption to put it into words. When we are inspired, we literally breathe into and infuse with life. Remember, Jesus said, “I am… the Life.” Inspiring words influence our thinking, enliven our sensitivity to life’s meanings, arousing us from lethargy, and exalting strength to our heart with restoration for our souls.

A perennially vivacious sentiment gives a breadth of vision and stretches our heart’s sympathy like the new birth or implant. AS CHRISTIANS, let us share this wonderful feeling! Inspiration allows the heart to pray delightfully, so let us dip our cups into this inspiration as if it is refreshing spring water.  Reactivate your immortal prayer: view this mind-expanding horizon, and be motivated to share. God’s purpose is fulfilled when we share with others “Peace, quietness, and assurance forever.”

“The work of righteousness shall be Peace, and the effect of righteousness will be quietness and assurance forever.” Isaiah 32:17 For those years we labored in lonely places, God may or may not show faces of those blessed by our obedience to him; however, we want to know that he will welcome us into the fair city that he spilled blood in love preparing for us.

I WAS GLAD WHEN THEY SAID UNTO ME LET US GO INTO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD.”
