King’s Daughters World Ministries Princess Pageant 2018 Award Winners

The King’s Daughters World Ministries held its Mother and Daughter Princess Tea Party on Sunday, November 4th, at the UAW Local 974 Banquet Hall. The event featured a Princess Pageant Preview, special musical guest Juanita R. Williams, and an awards ceremony.

Several young girls’ ages 5 through 10 participated in the Princess Pageant Preview. They completed four weeks of Princess Prep School comprised of Etiquette classes and talent showcase rehearsals. The Princesses processioned onto the court modestly adorned in white, pearls, pastel pinks and royal tiaras.

Each Princess let their little lights shine as they performed their personal talent. Princess E’Myah Skii Winder (age 5) played the instrumental song “Mary Had a Little Lamb” on her electric keyboard. Princess Jalisa Lashaya Alexander (age 6) gracefully praise danced to the song “Rise Up.” Princess Nevaeh A’Nya Wells (age 6) performed an interpretive dance to “How Far I’ll Go.” Princess Khadijah Yaasameen Muhammad (age 8) sung an inspiring rendition of “Rise Up.” And Princess Kamren Lanae Sanders did a spirited praise dance with a praise flag to “Celebrate the King!”

Award nominated Gospel recording artist Juanita R. Williams blessed the audience with songs from her EP Expected Glory. It was a special treat to have a mother and daughter duo from her and daughter-in-law Mrs. Arienne Criss-Thornton.
