Some of the area’s best-known ministers will share their defining moments at “Pastors Off the Record,” a fundraiser for the ELITE Youth Program. The storytelling event is 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 at Richwoods High School auditorium.
Speakers include Dr. Bryan Chapell, Grace Presbyterian Church; Pastor Deveraux Hubbard, St. Paul Baptist Church; Bishop Joseph Johnson, Star of Hope Full Gospel Baptist Church; Pastor John King, Riverside Community Church; Rev. Dr. Forrest Krummell Jr., First Federated Church; and Pastor Calvin Rychener, Northwoods Community Church.
ELITE, a Peoria Park District program, prepares high school students and ex-offenders for the job market. ELITE also provides behavioral programs for grade school students.
Tickets for “Pastors Off the Record” are $25 for adults; $10 for students and free for children 12 and under.
