T.H.I.N.K. Mentor Academy presents Pillow Talk – “Let’s Not Go to Bed Angry” a conference for mothers with daughters nine (9) years old and older.
The purpose of the conference is to open the lines of communication between mothers and daughters: listening without judgment, understanding each other’s needs and building healthy mental and physical relationships.
The guest speakers will be Tiffany Mack from Antioch Group, Marilyn Giles from South Side Mission, and Laura Kowalske from Center for Prevention of Abuse.
The event will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018, from 10 a.m. -1 p.m. at G. W. Carver, 710 W. Percy Baker Jr. Ave. Food sponsored by Blooms Catering.
Registration for the event is going on now through July 31, 2018. The registration fee is $20 (women ages
18 and up); $10 (girls ages 9 – 17). Acceptable forms of payment: cash, check, or money order.
