South Side Mission is celebrating its Annual Banquet on Monday, May 14, 2018, at the Peoria Civic Center. The event begins at 6:00 PM in the Ballroom featuring international speaker and teacher on issues of racial reconciliation, leadership and Christian community development, Dr. John M. Perkins and Peoria’s very own, Gospel Singer/Songwriter, Pastor Deveraux Hubbard.

Dr. John M. Perkins is one of the leading evangelical voices to come out of the American civil rights movement. He is also an author of nine books including A Quiet Revolution, Let Justice Roll Down, With Justice for All, Beyond Charity, He’s My Brother, Resurrecting Hope, and A Time to Heal. He has written numerous chapters in other books.
Pastor Deveraux Hubbard is a gifted kingdom servant with many talents. He serves as the shepherd and lead pastor at St. Paul Baptist Church, where he ministers through preaching, teaching, pastoral mentoring in family and music. He has written several songs and released his first album, “A Worshippers Lament.”
Premium seats are available for $60 per person, $600 per table of ten. Seating is limited. Standard tickets are available for $50 per person, $500 per table of ten.
