The African American Hall of Fame Museum will hold the 30th Annual Red, Black and Green Ball at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at the Peoria Riverfront Museum. This year’s celebration will be especially memorable because the organization will celebrate 30 years of existence. The evening will include a cocktail hour, silent auction, 50/50 auction, a tribute to the founders of the organization, 2018’s inductees into the museum, students from Peoria District 150 and Bloomington-Normal schools receiving scholarships, delicious cuisine and entertainment.
Duane Farrington, Executive Vice President – Technology, Digital and Innovation, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Companies, will deliver the keynote address: “Building a Successful Legacy.” Mr. Farrington began his career in 1980 and has held numerous frontline positions across the United States. His compelling story of meeting challenges and maintaining a competitive edge will inspire students, parents, professionals and leaders to envision a future without limits.
