If God Said It, Then It’s Already Done—Don’t Compromise
Jodie Young-Marshall, writer and director of the upcoming play/fashion show, If God Said It, Then It’s Already Done—Don’t Compromise was born and raised in Peoria. She has been married to her husband, Arthur, for eight and a half years. They have three children; Jonqiue, Mario and Niko. Jodie is a charter member of Morning Glory Community Church where Marlon E. Young is Pastor (First Lady Kay). She is also the president of the Usher Board and very active in other church auxiliaries.
When asked how she got started Jodie replied, “Everybody has a purpose, and God made mine writing and directing spiritual plays that incorporate fashion shows.” Jodie wrote her first play six years ago titled, A Spiritual Makeover From the Inside Out. Since then, she has written several others, Building God’s Kingdom, Walking in God’s Marvelous Light, Spiritual Maintenance Plan and This Means War.
Jodie states, “Knowing that many people are visual learners, my goal with these plays is to demonstrate the encompassing love God has for us all. He will never leave us or forsake us.” Jodie is a witness to her testimony. She has been blessed with friends that have never left her side and thanks them for their continued support, especially her mother.
Jodie’s upcoming play/fashion show is, If God Said It, Then It’s Already Done—Don’t Compromise, is being held on April, 22nd at 2906 N. Twelve Oaks Drive in Peoria. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. The venue starts at 5:30 pm.
