Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Freedom March and Commemorative Service, January 16, 2017

mlk_freedom_march_flyer_2017jerome-gregoryMonday, January 16 marks the 31st year of the national holiday, and the 88th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Participants in the March should assemble at 2:30 p.m. at the Romeo B. Garrett Cultural Center at Bradley University, 824 N. Duryea. The group will depart at 3:00 p.m. and walk to First United Methodist Church, 116 NE Perry Street, Peoria, IL. Following the March, the MLK Commemorative Service & Awards Ceremony will take place.

The inspirational speaker will be Jerome Gregory, Speechwriter, Student Leader, Communications Consultant and Coordinating Officer of the Bradley University Speech Team, the nation’s most successful collegiate team in history. MLK Leadership Awards will be presented following keynote address.
