Peoria attorney Alicia Washington
was sworn in as an Associate Judge of the Tenth Judicial Circuit
on January 29, 2016 at the Peoria County Courthouse.
Judge Washington is the first African-American woman
to take the bench in the 10th Judicial Circuit Court,
which serves Peoria, Tazewell, Marshall, Putnam, and Stark Counties.
Judge Washington is assigned to Courtroom 121
and presides over traffic related matters.
